KioWare is kiosk system software that takes a different approach from others in the marketplace. When system and application software are combined, the development process is complicated by having to learn, and purchase, a new tool. And risk is increased because your application is essentially held hostage by the new tool. If key functionality isn't available or doesn't work properly, then you are stuck.

Application Software
Instead, we concentrate on the system issues that are specific to kiosk deployments and as long as your application runs under MS Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater, it will automatically run with KioWare. This means that you can write your application in Flash, HTML, Java, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Perl or any industry standard web language using whatever development tool your developers already know. Have an existing web application that you wish to port to a kiosk? No Problem! Our approach means that your existing web application can be immediately run using KioWare.

System Software
KioWare is a program that wraps around your existing web application and provides kiosk specific functionality such as OS/browser security, user session management, sophisticated logging, attract screen generation, phone dialing, statistics upload to a central server, remote monitoring to a central server and content download from a central server. These functions are not typically part of a web application, and we believe they don't belong in your application software. With KioWare, adding these kiosk functions is as simple as using our Configuration Tool - no programming required.
